Growing up, my community was filled with teachers, and I learned lessons from them all—from the preachers to the pipers. The complexity of my upbringing shaped the questions I ask about who gets to thrive, who holds power, and what institutions are willing to change.
Working alongside communities across the country, in Latin America, and across backgrounds has given me the language to support organizational efficacy while respecting people with equitable narratives. In executive leadership, community finance, writing, and research, those questions became practical work. The story is not a list of titles; it is a continuing conversation between experience and possibility.

The questions behind the work.
What does it take to preserve Black leadership, progress and well-being in an age of artificial intelligence—without surrendering our humanity?
That question runs through my doctoral research and The Mud Code. My writing on economic extraction, exploitation, and building alternative communities asks how systems shape our lives and how we might live differently in the age of AI and increasing racially motivated violence.
